Marc Webb is an award-winning filmmaker and one of the most sought-after feature film, commercial, and music video directors working today.

Webb’s first feature was the indie romantic comedy “(500 Days) of Summer”, starring Joseph Gordon Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. The film was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards, including Best Picture. The National Board of Review also honored Webb with their Spotlight Award, which recognizes outstanding directorial debuts.

Before long, he was handpicked by Sony Pictures to steer the massive smash hit “The Amazing Spider-Man”, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Sally Field which grossed over $750 million worldwide. He returned to direct the sequel, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”, which was released in 2014. During Webb’s commitment to the Spider-Man franchise, he also directed episodes of “The Office”.From 2015-2019, Webb was an executive producer on “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”, which he also wrote and directed episodes for.

He has also directed over 100 music videos throughout his prolific career. Many of Webb’s music videos were instantly iconic and instrumental to the launch of his successful career in features, including his videos for Green Day’s “21 Guns”, AFI’s “Miss Murder”, My Chemical Romance’s “Helena”,and The All-American Rejects’ “Move Along”. This body of work catapulted Webb into the rarefied stratosphere of music video directors that could successfully crossover into feature films. Webb has also directed commercials, with campaigns for Allstate, Target, and USPS to name a few.
