Lucy Tcherniak is a British writer/director currentlv based in Los Angeles.
Her work is characterized byher empathetic and holistic approach to character building, creating complex people with realistic flaws and grounded, relatable humanity.
She is well known for her warm, witty, and visually compelling comedy work such as on episodes of Wanderlust and The End of the Fucking World. She's also proved herself an adept filmmaker across multiple genres, having directed episodes of the post-apocalyptic series Station 11Whether realistic or stylized, her work is always cinematic and engaging.
Most recently she served as EP and director for the Peacock series Angelyne, and theApple TV+ series Sunny. She looks forward to bringing her unique perspective and cinematic storytelling back to the commercial world
