Peter Darley Miller is an American photographer, director and producer.

A California native, Miller was born and raised in Santa Monica and educated at the prestigious Pasadena Art Center College of Design. Miller began his career as a still photographer and won numerous awards for his album covers and movie posters, including the acclaimed poster for The Shawshank Redemption.

His early film career began in Music Videos where he made his name via Eric B and Rakim’s legendary “Casualties of War.” He has directed several award-winning campaigns for Nike, Sony, Discovery Communications, Burger King, Virgin Mobile, AT&T, Mini Cooper, College Sports Network, NASCAR, Playstation, Lexus, VISA, EA Games, BMW, Mercedes and various others. His most recent work includes several acclaimed spots for Masterclass. His long form content includes Alice in Chains 23, a short film for Funny or Die.

Miller is renowned for his distinct sense of visual comedy. His work focuses on relatable, real life situations with a heightened sense of absurdity, allowing the audience to see themselves in the humor. His outstanding commercial work has earned him several accolades including multiple Cannes Golden Lions, a CLIO, Art Director’s Club awards and a Director's Guild of America nomination for Best Commercial Director. Miller won an Emmy for “Boston Bruins: the Diehards” in 2019.
